Synopsis[]

Enlisting in the help from Ebisu; Roji and the twins Maril and Lili all fight against the spirit that haunts the building that they're staying in. Elsewhere, Muhyo tries to make a contract with the summon Hades Ruararie.

Summary[]

The entire building that they're staying in is under lockdown and Roji along with twins Maril and Lili are chased by the vengeful spirit. They hide in a room and soon hear someone being attacked. Wavering on whether or not to save the person in distress, it's revealed that the room they're all currently in belongs to Ebisu. He then details the history of the twins being "Magical Doctors" who have made a name for themselves in magical researchers. However, they're really just second-rate secretaries. Much to their chagrin, the twins have an outburst by the revelation and they then chastise Ebisu. They then propose they all work together to defeat the spirit with their natural talents.

In the hallway, spider webs left by the spirit are seen and the fellow examinees examine the remnants it left behind. Just when the coast is thought to be clear, the spirit appears and captures two examinees. So, Roji and Ebisu use talismans made by the twins to try and beat it, however, their efforts aren't enough to subdue it.

Elsewhere, Muhyo makes contact with "Hades Ruararie" and proceeds to make a contract with him. However, the only way to form a contract with him is to defeat him in battle. Sequentially, Muhyo's favorite summon Yuuri is used to fight against Hades Ruararie and the fight seems to lean toward Hades' favor.

Back to Roji's group, they manage to defeat all of the spirits that they encountered and the results are reported to Page by Imai. The man himself is seen playing a game of chess with the warden of Magic Prison 3 named Emily. It was from her prison that the spirits originated from. It's also revealed that the exam isn't over yet as two spirits called Ghasts appear before them. The Ghasts confront Roji's group and after one of the spirits spews out a blue acidic substance covering the floor of the hallway. Another spirit known as Bellocent of Mist Mountain then appears from the mouth of the other. As the spirit was about to use its power, Imai reveals herself and warns the group to run away. Bellocent still, however, uses her ability to short circuit all-electric energy things within the area. Notified of the situation, Page proceeds to investigate the situation himself.

While the Ghasts and Bellocent continue their attack on the examinees, Roji's group tries to escape the building with the help of Imai. Their attempts, however, fail; Imai also reveals that while the vengeful spirits and ghast were planned the Bellocent wasn't. Ebisu then discloses the backstory to the Bellocent and the ghast in question appears before them.

Outside of the building, Page orders his subordinates to find a way to open up the building and learns from Emily that Bellocent was missing from her prison. Emily presumed that Bellocent used her telepathic powers to escape from her prison.

Meanwhile, the fight between Yuuri and Hades Ruararie continues and while Hades believes his victory is soon at hand, Muhyo hasn't even used Yuuri's full power.
