Envoy

Envoys are spiritual beings, called forth by Magic Law practitioners. They can perform many different functions, but they are mainly used for sentencing ghosts.

Contracts

In order to summon an envoy, a practitioner must make a contract with the envoy that they wish to summon. This can be either with tempering (the energy used to conduct Magic Law) or with flesh and blood (which are only able to be used when one invokes the Bells of Troy). With flesh and blood contracts, the practitioner can summon stronger envoys and the envoys that he/she summons can become stronger (for example, Seven-Faced Dog being able to turn into inorganic objects). Flesh and blood contracts have a side effect: Envoy syntony, which causes the practitioner to suffer the wounds of the envoy.
