Artificiers are the creators of Artifacts, the tools that Magic Law practitioners use. While they are able to make the artifacts, they cannot use them (except with Forbidden Magic Law).
While artificers cannot use artifacts themselves, they do have low levels of tempering.
In medieval times they were known as alchemists.
